For seven years I worked for Parks Canada and tailored personal experiences for visitors from around the world. I understand how powerful storytelling can be in marketing for destination tourism, and how it translates into repeat business.

As a Parks Canada Interpreter, I wrote and delivered entertaining and educational programs–evening campfire programs as well as guided walks through the mountains, sharing Canadian history. My visitors went home with special memories and thanked me often for bringing Canadian history to life for them.  People remember those who are genuine and kind during their travels.  Previously to Parks Canada, I worked at a Canadian National Historic site, The Last Spike, Craigellachie, BC, offering interpretation and providing a positive experience to thousands tourists from around the world, who hopped off of their tour bus to visit our special historical site.

Authenticity is used ubiquitously in the digital marketing industry as a trendy word–I don’t use it as a catchphrase.  I live my life with it, as part of who I am.  I’ve made connections with people from around the world. In 2014, I spent a year living in Wuhan, China, teaching English as a Second Language. I won a writing contest award, through Wuhan Tourism, in which I described my travels and daily life living in Wuhan.

Now I seek to help wineries, local tour operators, art galleries and real estate professionals turn their unique stories into content that attracts the right clients and build systems that help save hours of time and thousands of dollars.

What makes me different than other marketing agencies?

My background is in tourism and fine arts, as well as training in digital marketing and AI tech/automated workflows.  My unique blend of these three industries–tourism, arts, and technology–is something most people cannot claim to possess.  I have many years of real-world experience in tourism, working the front lines with visitors.

I offer personalization as a solo operator.  You don’t have to work with multiple people, dealing with many personalities or trying to keep track of who is handling what portion of your marketing endeavours.

My Education & Training:

  • Advanced Digital Marketing with AI Integration Certificate
  • Digital Marketing Bootcamp Certificate
  • Fine Arts Diploma
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree; English-Professional Writing Special Focus
  • Interpretation Canada Certificate
I’d love the opportunity to show you what I can achieve for your business!
